Dr Eujin Pei

Inclusive Design Research Fellow

Eujin graduated from the University of the Arts London (Central Saint Martins) with a BA (Honours) degree in Product Design. He went on to undertake an MSc degree in Industrial Design at Loughborough University. With an interest in collaborative design, he pursued a PhD degree to investigate the interaction between industrial designers and engineering designers during New Product Development. He was responsible for the interface development and testing. During this time, he was also the editor for the publication, ErgoCES news.

Eujin's academic portfolio includes an invitation from Vaal University of Technology as a Visiting Scientist to explore the use of Rapid Prototyping facilities for design modelling. He returned to Loughborough University as a Research Fellow to explore a fully digital approach to design practice. Eujin has won a number of awards in international design competitions and was an invited judge for the 2010 British Promotional Merchandise Association design competition.

His Professional memberships include the Chartered Society of Designers (CSD) and the Design and Technology Association (DATA).

Eujin now works at the University of Southampton as a Research Fellow in experience design.
