Dr Liu Long

Associate Professor, Director of Griddesign Shanghai

Long Liu is an Associate Professor at the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University. He has Bachelor and Master degree in Industrial Design (Chongqing University, China) and PhD in Human-Machine Interaction from the Technical University Kaiserslautern, Germany. He is an enthusiastic researcher on human-centered design and has led projects on usability engineering, user experience study, user interface design, safety engineering, etc. with 40+ publications in these areas. He is also the director of Griddesign, a newly established design company in Shanghai, which has the design philosophy to connect life and technology through innovation and design practices.
